BEVARA ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF THEIR SPICE COLLECTION
Bevara Design House introduces a new collection of accents to compliment to their line
San Francisco, CA—Bevara Design House is eager to show off a new element to their line of sustainable, eco-friendly furniture; the SPICE Collection. SPICE is a collection of tabletop items and pillows that follow the same set of principles as the rest of the line, which aims to be modern, lasting, and affordable while simultaneously well-designed and environmentally conscious. Just as the right combination of spices enhance a meal, the selected pieces of hand thrown celadon bowls and vases in organic shapes do just that for your tabletops, while SPICE’s signature line of pillows add comfort and a punch of color to your favorite furniture.
It is Bevara’s mission to have sustainability dominate every step of their manufacturing and distribution process—from concept and materials to execution and retail delivery, while working in harmony with the world’s resources. SPICE helps accomplish that mission by producing the tabletop collection in Thailand, using a process that has been passed down from artist to artist over many centuries. This process is what gives the collection its distinctive cracked finish, which is a result of the clay and glaze cooling down at different speeds after firing.
“We created the SPICE collection to serve as a unique accent to our line,” says founder, Stacy Jorgensen. Jorgensen and her husband, Erik Jorgenson, co-founded Bevara Design House in early 2008. “We wanted to bring out the simplistic beauty of the line with organic accents that bring warmth to the straight modern lines of our furniture collections.”
